KXT 91.7

I recently came upon a station called KXT and am now a proud member of the station. KXT is a public radio and plays great music both local and national. They run primarily by donation money from listeners around the area. It's very important for me and I'm sure for many people around the metroplex to keep this station running because of the service they provide for their listeners. KXT is a commercial free station and have several shows throughout the day. The station is based in North Texas and therefore play music from many local bands as well as music from around the country and from around the world. KXT hand picks music playlist for the real music fan which is why I truly appreciate the station. They have opened me up to many different types of music and have helped me appreciate the local talent and how we can support them. Many people today stick to mainstream music which is completely okay but listening to KXT brings variety in to the music world. Sometimes people find it obscure that a station will ask for money and are skeptical to donate but that is no reason for people to shy away from KXT because they are true to their word and deliver something that no other station around the area is capable of.
