I was a LOST watcher. I followed the show from beginning to end and like many people in America when it ended, I needed something new to replace my favorite science fiction show. a bit before LOST ended I had started watching a new show called Fringe. Although during the time that LOST was still on air i didn't pay much attention to Fringe. But Fringe quickly became my new LOST and is now my favorite show. The science fiction is based on a FBI "Fringe Division" in Boston. This division uses fringe science to investigate strange and sometimes unexplainable scenarios. Both shows share the same executive producers which explains many of the resemblances in the build of the plots but the difference is that Fringe is a little easier to understand and keep up with. J.J. Abrams does an excellent job of keeping the science fiction community on its toes with both shows. Although Fringe is only in its third season this year, it has done a great job of building a story but allowing viewers to jump in on any episode and still understand what is going on. Like in Lost, Fringe also has a parallel universe that people can travel from one to the other but the story line is completely different. In my opinion Fringe has potential to become may be better than LOST if people give it a chance and allow themselves to get captured in this story as they did for LOST.
